Meet Todd M. Weiss, M.D.
Dr. Weiss is an Otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon. Physicians in this field are commonly known as an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeons. Dr. Weiss is well trained in the medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment of head and neck disorders for both adults and children. Although many people think of tonsillitis, sinus problems, or ear infections, otolaryngology encompasses much more. Dr. Weiss provides care for a wide range of disorders including thyroid and parathyroid disease, salivary gland disease, hearing and balance disorders, middle ear disease, hoarseness, chronic sinus disease, snoring and sleep apnea, and head and neck cancer. Dr. Weiss has a particular interest in thyroid disorders, and is a skilled thyroid surgeon.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Texas State University. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Brach in Galveston, and graduated in the top of his class. He did his surgical residency at Southern Illinois University where he completed 2 years of General Surgery training and 4 years of Otolaryngology training. Throughout his academic career Dr. Weiss has received multiple honors and achievements. He has served in many leadership roles at local hospitals by acting on medical committees, published academic peer reviewed literature, and given numerous talks and presentations at national and international academic meetings. He is licensed by the Texas State Medical Board and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He remains active both in the community and in many professional organizations, and is eager to take on the individual needs of patients with compassion, efficiency, and excellence.
